Hey there long time no post.

I moved to linux a wile back and I just installed RF using WINE

Actor viewer works and so do most tools RFeditpro does not and The game executable do not work. Any one know what I could do to get RF to run under Ubuntu Linux WINE?

Id love to get back to designing but I cant do windows anymore.

Nevermind I got it to work.

Here is how for those that want to kick windows to the curb.

Ubuntu hardy

Latest WINE

Download Winetricks the script run it and install dx9 and anything Vb6 or directshow

I also grabbed the fonts and other stuff but I think thats what did it. Rfedit and all tools work and games play fine. In fact really good frame rates.

So you can do RF in Linux.

Great to see you back & thanks for that info Tabulanis might be going that way myself soon. Looking forward to seeing some more of that great artwork and texturing of yours.
