BLENDER
Re: BLENDER
We are working on motions in equity now. In the next release v5.0.5 you will be able to create motions in equity for a rigged model. When we have sorted that we will be working on building a skeleton and tying in mesh. You should then be able to export your mesh from any modeller in nfo, obj, or 3ds format import that into equity build the skeleton tie it in to your mesh and animate it.
Re: BLENDER
Ah, I see. i would prefer working with blender but this will work nearly as well.Anyway, I won't be doing much in RF1, instead, I'll be moving to RF2.

What about ethernal lands? opensource MMORG. All models are made with blender.Voltare wrote: And for you blender guys....I challenge you to show me 1 full game made with it, that is not based on that crap you call " blender game engine".And is able to run on windows.
And Yo Frankie is an blender project. It looks verry nice.
Just to name 2.
Just don't use the blender engine itself but use it as a tool to make models and animations and even worlds.

Re: BLENDER
Blender would be good if they did a bloody facelift on that messy, overfilled, small text,
ECT GUI that they have. IMO

Re: BLENDER
Look....None of those were made with the blender game engine, which I specifically asked for.You have to export out of blender, like anything else.Which makes it even harder with blender.
Export process in , say, milkshape : file:export: whatever.3ds(or whatever):save.
Export process in blender: Yeah.I'll get right back to you on that one as soon as I understand it.
Until those blender goons, which is what they are( just try asking them why that interface is as confusing as it is......try it.), change that whole system, from the way it saves things, to the interface, to the way it navigates in 3d space....it won't ever be nothing but an artist's tool.

Re: BLENDER
Now you are just being stupid since exporting from Blender is the same as any other program. Go to File->Export and choose what format to export then select a filename.Export process in blender: Yeah.I'll get right back to you on that one as soon as I understand it.
Re: BLENDER
Got to agree with voltare on this one. It's NOT that simple. The next step from the one you show allanon, is to go though loads of steps choosing a directory and the interface for that is hopeless (You almost need satnav to get through it). Then you have another dialog pops up with loads of different choices even on a simple thing like .obj. If your cursor slips off the dialog you have to start over again. It's absolute Rubbish. The whole interface needs rebuilding from scratch to make it half usable.
