Countdown Timer

Post by Wolf Lord »

Hi all.

For my current project I need to have a timer set for 15 minutes, and if you havn't completed the level by then, there will be a massive explosion. Any thoughts on how I could do this? All help is appreciated. :)

I've been doing that, but:

A) The countdown timer isn't appearing

B) i can't figure out how to get the explosion

The RealityFactory.chm help file located in Reality Factory's docs folder has instructions on how to display the counter. Just search for "countdowntimer" and read about the entity.

I suggest you download a CHM help file reader from the web there are a lot of free readers on the web. There are also converters that will convert the CHM file to different formats. I converted it to HTML and put in on my FTP site so you can see the instructions. I'm not going to leave this up so as I suggested you should get a reader for CHM files.

CountDownTimer Entity Documentation

Full Reality Factory Documentation

I would suggest putting the RF documentation on the RF website so we can link to it when someone asks a question that is answered in the documentation.
