How do i delete a forum account

I registered with this certain forum-not this one- and i dont want to be part of the forum any more i only joined to use the search feature and its stupid and i want out asap. so how do i go about doing this.

I imagine you'd have to e-mail the admin and ask that your account be deleted.

I thought about that but i couldnet find a email but i'll keep looking. i recall reading a unsubscribe check box in emails that are sent out from the forum. though it might not be the same for everyone.

if they're spamming you with email they have to by law (at least u.s. law) give you an opt-out. if they don't, post that you're gonna sue them if they don't delete your account. bet you'll get a fast reply...
