Changing the time between footsteps
Changing the time between footsteps
Hate to sound like a n00b here, but does anyone know how to change the time that elapses between the footstep sounds?
Over 3 years (has it been that long?) and just now I noticed the day and month of my birthday were switched. Whoops!
Some 2d games I made, haven't made anything in a year though O.o

Re: Changing the time between footsteps
I would have thought that you'd be changing the actual WAV that is the footstep sound?
I am presuming your issue is that the sound is too slow compared to the speed of the footsteps?
Just see if you can modify the wave file (and keep an eye out for a reply post from someone who knows the answer as a fact. I'm noobie too.

Just a noob with a genuine hobby interest looking for answers not found in docs.

Re: Changing the time between footsteps
footstep sounds are basically the footstep sound looped, with no wait time. you need to add in silence to the actual wave.
Herp derp.

That's correct. You have to adjust the audio file.
