Happy birthday Jesus, and merry Christmas everyone!
Re: The Happy Birthday Topic :)
Actually Jesus was born in September.
Dec 25th is the birthday of the son of the Goddess Isis (Isis was the Goddess of nature) this date was hi-jacked by the church and has since been Hi-jacked by commercialism. It has now become the festival of shopkeepers and salesmen.
But having said that I personally still see it as celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ so everyone have a good Christmas and a happy new year and give the finger to the commercial world.

Also just remember the Santa you know today is a copyright of the Coca-Cola® Co.
and in 2012 it will be 80 years old.

So even Coca-Cola® owns Santa.

and in 2012 it will be 80 years old.
see rest hereThe Civil War cartoonist Thomas Nast drew Santa Claus for Harper's Weekly in 1862; Santa was shown as a small elf-like figure who supported the Union. Nast continued to draw Santa for 30 years and along the way changed the color of his coat from tan to the now traditional red. Though some people believe the Coca-Cola Santa wears red because that is the Coke® color, the red suit comes from Nast's interpretation of St. Nick.

In 1930, artist Fred Mizen painted a department store Santa in a crowd drinking a bottle of Coke. The ad featured the world's largest soda fountain, which was located in the department store of Famous Barr Co. in St. Louis, Mo. Mizen's painting was used in print ads that Christmas season, appearing in The Saturday Evening Post in December 1930.
