i have one that i got for free but it doesnt work with windows xp. its an acerscan prisa 310p and i have found athe new drivers and guides and such but it doesnt work for me though it could be becuase the old drivers fail to uninstall. anyway that doesnt matter cause i plan on buying a new scanner. does anyone have a good quality, cheap, scanner for drawings thats cheap. im in the US and i would prefer buying from a store not online. thanks and merry happy holidays.

HP is always good, Lexmark is fair, lexmark is usually very inexpensive. what you need to go by is Optical resolution verses enhanced, then by the name and history, whatever you get make sure the optical is high, :)

this one seems good except im not sure about the unlimited resolution.

edit: forget about this one it can only scan letter sized documents.

I have a microtek mrs-1200t48u I paid $50 new at newegg.com,
3 years ago. Works for me, includes a cheesy slide scanner, but
better than nothing.
