Failed to initialize

Post by Bazm »

Good afternoons.

Excuse by being but I do not specify in my question of yesterday.
The questions are that when attempt to see a level that I finish creating and I click on the button view whit the engine appears to me message with the following text.

"Could not start the engine Driver or mode problem".

And

"Failed to initialize engine".

I have installed Directx 9.

Thanks.

Don't use the "View with engine" button, use the "build *.bsp File" button and in the Compile Manager Dialog that will pop up, check "Preview in Reality Factory" then press OK

you get the "failed to initialize" error because that button performs a command that was originally designed for Genesis3D WITHOUT RF.

Basically, the button doesn't work, we just haven't taken it out yet.
