If you're a fan of old-fashioned RPG's, Gothic II is for you, I
saw it for $4 on Amazon, but I went for the $15 one with the extra
episode. This is from JoWood, and it's done with their typical
German thoroughness, the townspeople grind knives, pound hammers, bang hot horseshoes, one guy stands there smoking,
with smoke coming out of his mouth on a regular basis. They
all talk along with the written dialog.
Downsides are long load times, if you get killed, you really
have a long wait to play again, thinking of cheating because of
this. Oh, there's no crack, so if your disk gets trashed, game over.
Came out in 2002.
Another good one from them is Arx Fatalis from 2003, went
a long way, couldn't find the 6th of 6th items so I gave up.

I've played Gothic and Gothic 2 but not the Gothic 2 extension.
Gothic 2 had better graphics but Gothic 1's atmosphere was better. Overall Gothic 1 was more fun.
When Gothic 3 is coming out i am going to get a Geforce 8000 to play it(if i got the money). (Boah! those screenshoots!)

Everyone can see the difficult, but only the wise can see the simple.
