Post by Snpr13q »

Does anyone know how to cut away a block in milkshape? I want to make a truck bed only using one peice.

Well I haven't used Milkshape in quite some time but there are several modelling methods one could apply.

You coud use Boolean and another block to cut out the bed. Which I'm not sure milkshape has.

You could bevel, and then extrude the top of the bed down into itself to form the bed.

Or you could simply cut away the top polygons, and then build the bed from planes that you then weld the vetexes together on.

milkshape currently doesn't have boolean subtraction. you'll need to use extrusion. it's actual quite simple to do, about two minutes of work, if that.
