wow, looks great!

i can imagine those two bottom pieces to the right and left as swiveling opposite to wherever you want to go, providing thrust - in the pic, it would be taking off, or trying to achieve a smooth landing. awesome!

Looks nice but way too many poly's on the tubes.

Hard tell from the pic if they're actual tubes of cylinders but unless they're really big and the player is going to get really close they should be cylinders.

As well if the tube is straight with no bends it should only have 1 segment. You double the polycount every time you add a segement. Thus a 6 sided cylinder with 1 segment and two closed ends has 12 poly's not counting the end caps which would make it 24 poly's in total (6 per end). So everytime you add another segment you add 12 poly's.

Thus the same straight tube that can be achieved with 24 poly's can be abused with 5 segments adding an extra 48 poly's per tube. Multiple that x 24 tubes is 1,154 extra poly's that will be rendered and strain the engine that much further but will add no detail to the model whatsoever.

As well depending on size and how close the player will come to it 6 - 8 sides is good for smooth detail at close range. Anything more is over kill unless it needs 18 sides to not stick out like a sore thumb.

Looks good though so don't take it the wrong way just trying to help.

The first and secord models look totaly digrent to me. :?
I'm not sure if it is the "error on mash".
But the wings look longer the two side engines are gone the main body in Longer.

Are you sure these arn't two ships?

[edit]

Oh and i hope you make it less poly.

Poly count if the first thing anyone that wants to use them will ask you.
