I understand how to make animation but not sure how to animate his weapon its made up of a centeral shaft and a head that contains the sharp point.
I want to make an idle animation for it and i couldnt find a tutorial for what i want to do.
I use milkshape and i tried with out an animation to make a idle animation.
I want the weapon to stay still on the person but all the Actor studio come up with an error.
I want to make this weapon to be used in first person but im wondering do Uneed to make a hand and fore arm for the weapon and the animation isnt working.

I'm not sure exactly what you mean when you say "I understand how to make animation" then you say "but not sure how to animate his weapon"
If you don't know how to animate there's lots of info on this at the Milkshape forums.
Also in the RF folder, under Docs, there is a section called "Tips, Tricks, and Tutorials" and a sub heading of this called "Creating Weapons"
Lots of good info there for what you want to do.
Also, a hand or fore arm isn't necessary for the animation to work. People put the hand and fore arm in if its going to be visible in the swing.
