There is no such thing as not being able to convert any format into any other format.

He's talking about animated models.

Like i Sayd "There is no such thing as not being able to convert any format into any other format" you just have to find a way.

There are over 100 plug-ins for blender and gmax and there's no one that supports amination?
Even if you have to use 2-4 programs it can be done.

[edit]

If you can find a tutorial about getting blender models into half-life .mdl format then you should be able to get them into gmax or milkshape to export to RF.

Here's a Blender to Directx .x exporter.
Find a Gmax .x importer and that should be all u need.

Yeah, I really want to learn RF, but have been too lazy. The argument for, not learning, have been: Maybe RF doesn't support .blends. What format is RF using? Maybe I should wait learning RF until RF2 is realesed. It's going to be realeded soon, right?

RF2 release date, in C++:

Code: Select all

void IsRF2DoneYet()
{
   RF2.Done() ? RF2.Release() : Develop(RF2);
}

void WillRF2BeDoneSoon()
{
   RF2ReleasedSoon = (RF2.Done()->GetTime() == Soon);
}
In other words, it'll be done when it's finished, and if that happens to be soon, it will be soon, otherwise it won't. I'm sorry for not giving a date, but dates are the bane of programmers everywhere. If I miss the date, everyone gets mad at me, and if I make the date way early, I probably end up with a worse RF2.
