a *good* vfs extractor

ok, I was playing a game made in RF and I wanted to look at one of the levels in the map editor, but it was packed in the vfs file. i took the RFvfs tool and tried to extract it, but it didn't work.

anybody know of a good vfs extractor?

That is a good VFS extractor, and to my knowledge the only one, beyond the one supplied with Genesis3D which I believe is identical.

The more likely option is that the VFS file is passworded, which means you won't be able to get into it with any utility.

The point is moot anyway, since the levels would be in compiled (.BSP) format, which the editor cannot open.

Andy is right. The VFS extractor is just fine, but what you would extract would be useless anyway.
