adding bones

hi i have been lurking around this forum for about a week
my question is is there any other program besides milkshape were i can animate my characters for reality factor? :roll:

Hi Zane, welcome to Reality factory. I deleted your second post. Sometimes the forum will do that to you. make you think one didn't take when it did.

I know exporters were created at one time for 3dsmax, back for versions like, 4 and 5, but I do not know of how to get a model from another program into RF without going through Milkshape, to generate the bdy and mot files.

If anyone else knows of a way, please let zane know.

you can animate in any programme aslong as you can get it converted into a .bdy file for the actual model and a .mot file for animation, if its because you can animate easier in another programe then animate in that programme then import into milkshape and then export to the necasery files. if its because you cant get a copy of milkshape then im not too sure on what to do because i have never had to try another way round it.

Gmax and the exporters (I forget their names, but they are on the RF resource site I think)
