I got bored today and downloaded the light version of GameSpace just for kicks- and apparently it's not going to do anything for me because it only exports to either trueSpace formats or the .X format.
Any users care to enlighten me?
What does gameSpace lite work with?

Well you can use trueGene to convert .cob files to .bdy's. Also, it has a bone system for animation so you can use it with the free trueSpace 3.2 to make actors with bones. I am useing the trueSpace/gameSpace lite combo to make all my 3D content. Its a bit of a pain to switch from one to the other, but it works. There is a glitch that might not be fixed yet, you cant save a scene with more than 650 polygons. Yeah its supposed to be 5000 but I found the glitch and emailed caligari. They said they will pass the information on the the developement team. So I dont know when and if it will be fixed. I am only using it because I am trying to keep everything for my game free and still have the right to sell it even though I know I wont do it. I also like gameSpace and trueSpace better than milkshape.
Oh yeah, lithunwrap can open the .cob files and then save them as almost any type of format. So basically its only good if you like to do things the long way for content in RF or prefere caligaris style of modeling.

Think outside the box.
