Hi panitball,

back to your original post.

1. you need to change your model into a .act file ... this is one of the file formats that r.f uses.

2. To change your model to a .act file you need 2 pieces of software the first is a program called milkshape
if you don't already have a copy ....you can get a months free trial
from here .......http://chumbalum.swissquake.ch/

3. The second is a program called astudio ...this is supplied free with your copy of r.f ... [ explained already ]

4. place youR model and it;s texture into the tools folder of r.f
[remember any texture must be a power of 2 ...I.E..64X64 ....128X128 512X512 E.C.T ...]

5. import your model FROM THE TOOLS folder into milkshape ...
and then export it as a genesis 3d bdy file ...back TO THE TOOLS FOLDER of r.f

6. Fire up astudio and do the following steps ............

a. click on file and then click on new.
b. type the name you want to give your model into the project name box and click o.k
c. click on the body tab and select genesis3d body(.bdy).
d. click the Brouse tab and goto THE TOOLS folder were you exported your genesis .bdy file and select it.
e. you should now see your .bdy file come up in the file name window of astudio
f. next ..click on the paths tab and were it says materials directory type in c:\Reality Factory\tools and press the build button.
g. If everything go,s o.k your .act file will be in the tools folder.

7. There are a couple of ways To get a .act file into your level.

1. copy the .act file from the tools folder and paste it into to the actors folder in r.f
place a staticentityproxy into your level and were is says szActorFile type in the name of the .act file from the tools folder
compile your level and your model should be there!

2. copy the .act file from the tools folder and paste it into to the actors folder in r.f and
place a pawn into your level.

post again if you need more help .......
