They are both of Latin descent. That is why the languages are very similar. The cultures are not really that similar. I'm actually a second generation Italian here in America. My Grandmother was the first one from my family to come over from Naples, Italy.

Hey paradox Snap. My Great Grandfather was Italian and my Great Grandmother Irish (on my mother's side of the family) My dad was English so I am a very mixed up kid. I don't know where in Italy my Great Grandfather came from but I think it was somewhere in the north. His surname was Graffini so that might give a clue as to the origin.

Yep...Graffini is definitely from the North. Graffini is actually plural for Graffino which comes from the South. Yes...i at the end of a word is actually like putting an s at the end of a word in English.
AA - Architecture in Spain is nothing like architecture in Italy. The Romans invented a lot of what most cultures use today. Bricks, plumbing, gun, arenas, etc... I agree that the languages are almost exactly the same, but culture-wise they are different. Culture being defined as family values, music, art, etc...

Alright, you're right Paradox... Also, did you get my PM, I'm trying to do my splashscreen. for the startup.
Anyone know of a good splashscreen program? I think doing just plain bitmaps is kinda dull... I'll start a thread about it.
