Yep, in first person it does not have to be that way. I tend to think in 3rd person all the time. I have to reinstall RF on my machine. I have my ini files packed up the the VFS file of my demo, and I need to unpack them to take a look. It's been a couple of years.

I was making a first person weapon. Thanx alot for the help. Now to get that acursed view offset right!

that can be annoying, but it can become easier. you might try the "Weapon Positioning On" in inieditor, see the appropriate section in the RF Ebook, it lets you (with numlock on) to use the numerical pad to change weapon offset in realtime. note youd want to change debug information to on in order to get the values it produces.
