hotel [wip]

this is a hotel work in progress, im not sure how im going to import this into RF yet, and i dont know how i will get the same window effects, mabe i will w8 to RF2
but here it is, textures arnt done yet but happy with the building and windows, still working on the penthous

very nice, that had to take a lot of work in MS3D. personally though, i would have added the windows as a texture instead of modelling them. this would also leave you open to adding some more artistic touches around the building.
good work though!

In Rf, you can make a texture to any transparency you wish it to be.I've done it with great success.I'm using it for windows as well......

wel it never took me too long, i got 2 circles of stacks of 24 (should of been 25 if you look at the top) then i went down and selectd every other row, and then deselected entire colmns to get the gaps between the windows, then i used the extrude tool to make a duplicate section sort of thing, then from this i used the scale tool to bring the windows in, and it was a simple task joining the 2 circles together (before i cut the windows)
i havnt exported it yet to reality factory but polly cout is lower than i expected it to be with is a great bonus
