video texture replacement

I'm having a problem hee with video texture replacement. What format should the video be in and what compression algorithm is acceptable??

I've tried .avi 320x240 24fps both uncompressed and compressed using the Cinepak codec...

Is there a size limit on the file?? the videos I need to use are street scenes of about 5-10 mb.

What about .mpg files. Thery're not listed as being usable in this instance but I note that one other poster has briefly mentioned them.

Would appreciate some help on this one. I'm a historian by profession and have trouble with anything less than a couple of hundred years old.

The online help is the best way to go here is a link,

http://dhost.info/realityfactory/online ... exture.htm

You can only use avi or gif.

Do not use any codec, as RF might not ues them.

Most of all, if al else fails use the time 2 rule.

I would use 64*64 , 128*128 , 256*256 or 512*512 . but that just me.

By the way,

WELCOME AND I HOPE YOU STAY WITH US FOR MORE THEN
couple of hundred years

Thanks
