What timne is it GMT? Wait, is that General Mountain Time?

I'd like to come, but after my Half-Life 2 spree I'll write about I'll probably stagger around mumbling incoherently about how underpowered the rocket launcher is and how small the dropships are.

EDIT: Darn, it'll be 1 - 3AM here! Sorry, far too late for me. Double darn, just got a GeForce 6200 yesterday, would be the perfect time to flex it's muscles (As if 13 hours of Half-Life 2 weren't enough).

A little history:
GMT is Greenwich Mean Time. It is a place in England that all time on earth is based on because that is where some science guy developed the time system we use today. EX: Estern standard time is 5 hours behind Greenwich time. Thus when you look at your Windows or whatever time zone under the clock it says your time zone +/- a number of hours compared to GMT.

Anyway, too bad I dont have UT 2004! I would love to play against others on the forums here.

I only have like 4 pc games! Starcraft(w/broodwar), Mech Warrior 4 Vengence and the expansion Black Knight, Mech Commander 2 and RollerCoaster Tycoon. I am a console player, and uber Nintendo fanboy.

Anyone else have Mech Warrior 4 Vengence/Black Knight? I could have sworn I saw someones sn from the forums in a battle once. You wouldnt have recognized me, I was going with the generic sn of MechWarrior or somthing like that.

Maybe I should go buy UT2004. I thought about it 3 times before...

Starcraft, that's what I call a great game. :D
One of the best strategy games ever, if you ask me.

Do you play it in battle.net? If you do, with what name?

Im not that good of a starcraft player in my opinion. I only play UMS games with one of my freinds so I dont play random games. Another reason I dont play random games is because of hackers and rushers(hate those zerglings). Lately I was using the SN *might not want to list it, some freak kept spamming me in the b.net chat room and dont want them to find me* so I will let you know my other sn if you ever want to see if I am on, its pslyghtly_psyco. I play so off and on that most of the time I need to make new SN's because it has been over three months since I last played!!!.

Sorry, it's gone offtopic again...

Yea, I'm not a great melee player either. I play UMS maps mostly too. Do you know those LotR(ish) maps? You'll probably find me playing those with name Juutalainen or Ar-JewBacca.

Is there a demo of UT 2004 w/multiplayer that I could download and play with? Or would that be too limited?

by AndyCR
Yeah, though it's limited to certain maps, it does seem to be compatible with the retail version. You can find it at http://www.unrealtournament.com .

Man do I wish I could play in it. Maybe sometime later we can have one thats earlier?

What timezone are you in Andy? If you are in central time US; 12pm which is supposed to be midnight(said 10 and 12 pm dont know if they are games that far apart time wise)? would be 6:00 pm. And 10 PM GMT would be 4PM. If you are mountain time US, it would be 5pm and 3pm respectively. Im eastern time so it would be 7PM and 5 PM. I think.

I honestly doubt it. It ran at about 6fps on a 366mhz, GeForce 4 MX 440-SE PCI 64mb, 256mb PC100 PC, and barely runs smoothly on my Athlon XP 2500+, 1GB PC3200, 128mb GeForce 6200 system. It can't hurt to try though.

If it's that time, I should be able to make it.

I am running Direct x 9 on my pc and I have 512 megs ram and 1.7Ghz processor. My only concern is the graphics card. I guess I install it and see.

Ah. In that case, it might run. Just be sure to set the texture and model quality to 'Lowest'.

Hmm. No Ardentcrest to be found in any ut2k4 game.
