polies or textures?
what is easier for a graphics card to render, textures or higher polly model as im trying to think of the best way to exploit graphics cards.

Well, to be honest, RF doesnt use much if any GPU power. I think everything is rendered through the CPU. So in this case you should try to make nice lower poly models because you have to render everything on screen along with running all the AI scripts, evaluate shadows special lightsing etc... with one type of processing. With some GPU power you can up polygon count. I recomend using lower polygon models with nice detailed 2D textures for RF use. It is easier to render a texture on a model than to calcualte all the vertices of higher polycounts with only one type of processing.
EDIT: Forgot to note that I am no expert in this area. However I am pretty sure my information is correct. Anyone should feel more than free to correct me if I am wrong.
