Good free photorealistic/tiling textures?

Post by wackedoutbiker »

Does anyone have any good links for free photorealistic and/or tiling textures? Bonus points if they are large and hi-resolution.

This is one site. I have a huge package of photorealistic tileable and non-tileable textures on my HDD. I have to figure out how to get them up to the net.

Well, there's that FileFront thing all the RF Resources are on. Not sure if that's helpful or not...guess you could try it.

I've been in contact with Daniel, and he has given me access to the filefront upload. Are there any particular textures you would want me to upload first?

I can start uploading some in the morning.

are these textures available in the resources section now? I am alos in desperate need of photorealistic textures (I plan on grayscaling them and making them look like they are made out of cut up card board in Photoshop though! )

There's a zip file over on the filefront resource site, that is like 40mb or so full of textures.

It is a lot. They are darn good textures. It's had more dowloads than I anticipated, considering it's size. Makes me happy!! :D

If someone could get animations for the HL2 skeleton that Federico uses for his new default player, it would be nice.
