Yeah the screenshots are really nice! Plus if it's an actual game I wanted to play it, and see what kind of puzzles it had in it.

I've been meaning to upload the demo to the reality factory resource site but I just didn't get to it yet... however, it can be downloaded from my personal filefront account:

I think I didn't include a readme file in the zip, so here is a short introduction:

In the middle of the night your old friend Professor Formin has called you up, telling you about an exciting breakthrough he just made in his laboratory. He didn't want to tell you more about it on the phone and his voice became a bit tremulous when he asked you to come to his house. When you arrive there the professor has disappeared without a trace... perhaps you can get a clue when you find out what Professor Formin was working at... Find his secret laboratory!"

Controls:
move: W, A, S, D
run: Shift
crouch: C
open doors, use items: E
inventory: Tab
zoom in/out: Q, X
enable/disable shadows from the menu (options->video)

Hrrmmmm....how the heck do I get into the house? None of the doors seem to open for me or the garage roof hatch.

Well, QOD says the E key opens doors. Make sure your are pointing your crosshairs, or center screen right on the center of the door when pressing the E key. Unless you need to find a key for the door. . .which is always possible?

Heh, I wasn't pressing the E key, guess I better pay attention to the keyboard layout. Ok so here's another question. When I run into an object like a lamp post for example, i get pushed back a little bit. What is causing that? It's very annoying.

QOD. . .IT ROCKS!! Did you model all of the geometry? It was great. I love the sinking stairs. Stroke of genius!! I won't say any more so as not to ruin anything for others, but it is just beautiful!! Great shadows. Anyone who says, "Oh, I want this other engine becasue it has shadows." Just has to see this. Fantastic!!

msx, I didn't experience the 'pushing back' effect. I tried bumping into everything, but it didn't happen.

Impressive work, indeed. I just love the atmosphere and the shadows. I have played that before but I didn't remember it's that awesome!

Yeah that was a good game demo for sure played it more than once.

My other fav was the cellshaded demo with the army men (bad with names) but it was a ton of fun as well.
