What happens when were done? (making the game that is)

Post by psYco »

I have been working on a game with a friend for nearly two years now and we are finally finnished or FPS survival horror RPG, school of the dead (its based at our school) any way we sold it to the kids at school (who dosent want a chance to shoot at the principle! LOL :D well now that were finnaly done we were wondering if you guys a RF HQ wanted it we want to give it to you as freeware! So do you want it? Will you host it?

Id email it to you but he installer is already 267mb the game is about 1gig thanks to RF needing bitmaps for textures.

But any way let us know if you want it and how we can give it to you!

:D we'd be honer'd to have our baby (work on some thing passionately for two years and its your baby ok!) hosted on your site for all to enjoy! :D

Only QOD can give you the okay to have it hosted, but if it was made with RF, then I don't believe it will be a problem.

Oh yes, I want it!!!! :D

I would have loved a chance to take a pot-shot at Mr. Webb. 8)

Wow thats great! It is made in RF, but pls dont expect too much as it was our first project and it started out very ambitious but with me moving here to england, (from south africa) our deadline was tight so alot of stuff got cut, and in the process of making the game we were actually learning the basics, ists still a bit of fun! :D

Okay, thanks... oh yeah you can see the other developer Allen5928, he has posted in my job postings thread ''new online dev team All welcome! Join Now!'' any way I must give him a lot of the credit since being a self proclaimed crazy asian :P he did a lot of the programming side I was more artwork!

Can you upload the game somewhere so I can grab it and add it to the rf filefront account? If not just send me an email so we can find a different solution...

That's the best (and first) full game done with RF I have ever played!!!
Too bad I hadn't saved and the game crashed after that three headed boss. :(

sorry that i didnt reply sooner I thought sumink happend and RF was gone!!!!! since it was down for soooo long! Any way yes sorry you need more ram, since we being kinda dum when it came to game dev back then made our boss textures like 64MBs each! and dont even ask about the sky box! that you cant even see!!! cause of the fog!!

Any way 240MBs should be enough! Since it ran on my dads old laptop fine! Does the menu load or does it not even start?

Sorry, I just didn't get to it yet. Due to all the troubles with the website lately and the work I had to do on the Broken Sword 2.5 game, I just didn't find the time to upload it.
