flip book

i need help setting up a flip book, i have 8 bitmaps in this animation, 4 normal and 4 alpher, they are a fire texture named fire0 - fire3 and a_fire0 -a_fire3, i have enterd a_fire0 for my start alpher and fire0 as my normal, changed it so it plays 1 frame a second, set the scale to 2, style to 1, i am trying to attach this to a bone in a model but am just doing a test first so ran it and it crashed, i then put a block in my world and placed the texture aztec66 on it and enterd this into texturename feild and it still crashed so any help please.

The BmpNameBase and AlphaNameBase entries are the base name of a sequence of bitmaps. The first bitmap in the sequence must be <name>0.bmp, the second <name>1.bmp and so on, where <name> is either BmpNameBase or AlphaNameBase.
Enter fire and a_fire as BmpNameBase and AlphaNameBase
