Reality Factory

I have been trying to get a platform to have more than on animation. I have tried the "Event" button on the model tab of RFEditPro. It has little to offer as far as help. In the manual it gives no informatioin on what I want to do. Checked the rffaq.txt and it simply gave an example of what the results should look like on the model tab for the events. It did not explain how to get there. I just want the platform to move in one direction and then another on its own or by a control switch. I will want both for different platforms at different points in the game.

Can someone give some detail on this?
