First i tried installing the 072a release from a perfectly good cd and it said that the setup was corrupted so i clicked on the rf 071 to see if it worked. It installed and i made a two room level and tried to compile. It ran through the logo but then goes black and crashes. But in the console it says compiled successfully. I downloaded a new 072, installed and it happened again it wouldnt let me preview. This happens in both the 071 and 072 releases.

However it did let me preview when i set the video for opengl but it was like playing avp. I was walking where the ceiling should be and the mouse was inverted.

heres the 072 console

The driver doesn't seem to find any free video memory... what video card are you using? do you run any other programs in the background?

I have an intel extreme integrated graphics with 64 mb, 766mb of ram and two hard drives with 3000mb of virtual ram each. It used to run just fine before but i had to uninstall it. I dont run anyother program while using rf.

integrated graphics are never a good thing...
anyhow, I would try to reinstall the latest driver for the video card and see if this helps :?
