alright this is what im trying
1. i hit the modify template
2. i hit the template cube made it the size of the pool i wanted. then i custimized so it was a solid and check cut brush.
3. after that i made a new cube and brought that cube just up to the floor and just below where i made the cut so i could but the texture below the water. and that worked out.
4. then made another cube with the enitie of liquid. placed where i wanted it and hit enter. but still the water doesnt show. dont know what to do. can someone help?

I'll make a guess and say you forgot to uncheck the 'Cut Brush' Box....

Does the brush show in the editor?

Forget cut brushes, make a swimming pool out of walls,
like real men do..

Then just make a brush a little larger than the walls and lower
than the pool top, that's your liquid.
