I'm using 3ds to make a level. Everything is fine it exports everything just fine I can test play it just fine but for the life of me I can't get the textures to carry over from 3ds to rfeditor. I took my textures and packed them into a txl file and I loaded the txl file but the textures dont appear on the my level. The models work just fine but I don't see my textures. Is it even possible?

No, you have to texture it in the RF editor.

We can make maps in 3DS max??? And it works??? What did you export it as? Also please let me know how texturing it went. Cause if its just a matter of retexturing it, I think ill make all my maps in 3DS max, its much easier.

Yeah I found a 3ds2map autodesk 3ds max plugin that lets you take your 3ds models and export them as map files. You can import them in rfeditor. It's cool but don't have to many polys or any plains because it wont export. your models cant have any holes in them... it can have a hole but it cant be an empty hole... like if you had a box with a face missing it wont export. Dont even bother texturing the models in 3ds though because later when you have to retexture them in rfeditor they show up all wrong and messed up.

Sorry for the double post but I have another problem... I don't mind retexturing the map but when I go to texture them in rfeditor they are all messed up... you can kinda see the color of the texture but its all messed up and stretched and choppy.
Edit NEVER MIND I was exporting it wrong.
