video sizes and formats

what dimention size and format of video file do i have to use for things like video texture replacer and the start screen cutscene and stuff like that?
I am planning on making some stuff in flash and exporting it to a video format so i need to know.
Also how will using video texture replacer affect my frame rate and such.

Im not sure about the the cutscenes.

I do know that, with the "VideoTextureReplacer" if you are replacing a texture that is 128x128 then the AVI that is replacing it has to be 128x128 in order to work.
