Simple question what progs r u using to get ur models ingame? and which are the best ways...since my milkshape trail just expired i have to find a nother way to convert my models.

I will go with gmax to since i just figured out the mistake i had the hole time while exporting with nfo script. i would love to use 3ds max 6 but i think the price is kinda keeping me from doing it...lol what about u buying everyone in the comunity a copy of it SithMaster....hehe...

I used milkshape until today the trail expired...and bc i dont want to buy it for $25 i have to find something else.

Model in Blender 2.37, export and open in GMax, animate, and export again.

milkshape 3d(registered trust me.....it's worth it) for modeling, lithunwrap for making the u.v. maps, pixia, deep paint free and mspaint for making the textures.....plus...for buildings....i cheat a bit(heh) i make 'em in rfeditpro, save to .3ds, modify in milkshape and then texture in lithunwrap..........works well for me
or one can use blender, save to a format lithunwrap can open,then save to a .cob file and use the truegene thingy.........basically the only completely free( other than the gmax thing) way i know of........

I know that milkshape is really worth the money its has some cool features but during my 30 days i actually only used it for animation, rigging and exporter to RF since i use Anim8or for modeling (in my opinion the free modeling programm) i just used it for rigging animation and exporting.....i think i just repeated myself...well i think $25 is to much for a converter when i can use other programms as well.

if yer usin anim8or, just get the truegene thing, and a proggy called crossroads.....or lithunwrap can save to .cob for truegene as well......

lol. Well if anyone wants i can send them 3ds max 6 for evaluation purposes. After 30 days you have to delete it. This way you can make an informed decision on if to buy or not. hehehe.
These lithunwrap you speak of is it for texturing? I really cant texture in 3ds max and need something to export my models to.

I believe you. Just give me a place to upload a 290 mb folder (not the install but the program file folder with code and everything setup) and you can begin testing it out.
