Can you make executables of your games?

RealityFactory.exe itself is executable. No need to compile a new exe or anything, just rename RealityFactory.exe and change the icon and you got yourself an executable for your game.

Wow, this is harder than I thought. Wouldn't you have to reinstall it everytime you wanted to make a new game?

Yap, but it has to be admitted that making a game with RF takes definately more than a few hours... Developing a full game may take years! There are two (
) actual full games with RF that I'm aware of, so it's not really that big deal to reinstall it every time.

Should I really start making a game with this? I used Game Maker, but I wanted to go further. How do you change the look of the menu?

Oh and welcome to the forum Razorex
If your not experienced with programming but your interested in making games, and you want to go a step further than those "game maker" and the like things, well THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU!
When i started with RF i had NO prior experience (well some VERY basic 2D stuff in a free app called Game Maker 6) but with some practice tutes and percecerence Im now happily developing my second game for the upcoming RF2 (well im making it in RF to later port to the more powerful GFX engien)
So good luck wiht your game dev, and I hope you learn to love RF... (wow I sound like one of them preechy church people, well soz but hey RF is the Shizz!
)
