In a skydome, whats the heightmap do?And does the texture on the dome move ,if so then would it be possible to have the texture slowly move from night to day?

@Zany: In the skydome the height map defines the bumpiness of the ground (the terrain) that the skydome generates

So the skydome creates a plane and puts height on it?the manual has a picture with your level above the plain[/img]

well the idea is to build your level above teh generated terrain plain (which uses the highetmap for relief) and below the sky, thus putting it within the skydome

Can you use the generated plain as part of you r level tho, and have the character walk on it?

yeah that would be a good idea but i dont think that it does that, there may be a way to get it to happen, but I think its ment to be just like the skydome, just for show... Eg looking into the distance and seeing mountains...
