First of all, I don't like downloading uncompiled levels that I have to open with the level editor and set the paths before I can see them. Posting some screenshots or the compiled .bsp file would be far more handy.

The level looks decent, though the textures need to be changed. As Spyrewolf said in another thread, we all have seen the RF default textures so many times they have become boring. I didn't like the start very much, there was a lot of space, the ceiling was very high and the rooms were pretty empty. In fact, the only place I think could be used in a game was the final room. It was actually pretty cool with the foglight and all. :)

Overall, it's a good start. Nobody's first levels are stunning pieces of art. This one is definately better than my first level. :D
I think you should change the textures, add some lights and fill the empty spaces, like add some details. That should spice things up.

and make act models, and use a staticmesh entity to add them. adding models really helps. for textures go to
amazing textures(ALL SEAMLESS!)
http://amazingtextures.com/textures/index.php

and go to 3Dlinks(good site) to browse textures and graphic design stuff.
