Adding new wepons

I added the pistol that i got from the rf resources and it just doesn't show up in my game what do i do

I would recommend The Rf Book
Goto page 93. It walks you through adding a weapon. Then if you still have problems please explain what you did, so we can try to pinpoint your problem.

I tried what the book said to do but istill can see the weapon

All i did was add the actor files to the media/actor/weapon folder and in wepon.ini i changed the C8 so that all the models where the pistol model
then i editted player.ini by adding

[dual pistol]
initial = 1
low = 0
high = 1

I got it to show up but i don't get how to put it in the right place

open the inieditor.exe, turn on weapon positioning, go into ur game, turn on debug text in the debug menu of ur options menu, get the gun, use the numpad to position the gun, look at the debug text weapon numbers, write them down, then add to ur weapon.ini file.
