Texturing ACT models

I can’t seem to create an actor file with textures. I exported the model from 3dMax as an x file with all it’s textures. I then use LithUnwrap to save the model as a MS3D. I open the file with MilkShape (During all these stages I can view the textures). However, when I export the model as a bdy file, (I don’t know at what point they get lost) I don’t see the textures in the folder I exported to, so I copy them from the folder containing the x file to the folder containing the bdy file. When I create the act file using ActStudio, I set the path to the folder containing the bdy file along with the textures I copied there. When I use ActViewer, I see the model, but it is not textured.
Can someone who experienced this problem and got it fixed, give me a step-by-step on how I can get my act model textured? Thanks

The textures are already IN the bdy file. There is no need to copy them into the same directory afterwards. However, due to a bug of milkshape, you have to make sure that you save the file as a ms3d file first into the directory where also the textures are. To make sure everything works, i export the bdy file into the same directory also.

btw ActView does not always show the textures, but Viewer does. If you want to know if your textures are in the bdy file, just compare the size of the textures with the size of the bdy file. If the bdy file is a bit greater, then you almost certainly have a 'good' bdy file with all the textures needed.

I noticed that milkshape heavily depends on the graphics card. I had a GeforceFX5500 and it worked perfectly, with exporting actors, and all that stuff. Now my graphcis card is broken, and it begins to even have problems with exporting actors sometimes (i am using the built in graphics without 3d acceleration). I know this doesn't make sense at all, but it looks like when milkshape uses the cpu for exporting AND rendering at the same time, those two actions somehow interfere and all i get is a crash. So sometimes it works, sometimes not. Before, the exporting was perfect. It's all really strange...

btw i use one of the later versoions, i think i use 1.80...

I'm using MilkShape 1.8, with NVidia GeForce 6100.
I don't know if the new main board I bought might be contributing to the problem. Since I bought this some strange things occured. For example, Nero 6 had worded with my previous mainboard and WindowsXP, but since I got this board, when I ran Nero, I got a message: 'This version of Nero is not compatible with your WindowsXP'. I also cannot run certain programs, because the system reboots everytime - Poser5, for example.
All the same I realize that Milkshape is a really good 3d tool for RF. I realize too tha LithUnwrap is great.
I hope I can get my models imported in RF (textured) though. This is at least one of the areas I want to get past.

1.8 has some serious problems, such as , if you want to re-do a .act model, say you want to add some more animations to it, it'll freeze and close just as you press the animate button.
