Importers

Can anyone make a script that allows you to import 3DS maps into the editor or a convertor. I have heard of Milkshape but DO NOT want to buy it and I can't figure out how to use gmax to make maps.

well then you have to make the map an actor, meaning a model file. you have to export to key and nfo files and import into astudio.

but i want to do an entire map not just an actor

and i tried 3DS23DT but it said invalid pixal format :oops: or something what should i do? :?

This version is no texture,no color,only mesh.you must apply texture with GEdit.

If your 3ds file has very many face ,GEdit will build fail.

(every mesh,the face limit about 150)




this is from the doc that comes with it....i'd love to get a hold of this source code.......

3DT's are maps, not actors. That means that 3DS23DT is what you are looking for.
