Adventure using s.c.u.R.F.

Post by nigec »

I normally make (or try to  ) flash adventure games, the scenes are pre rendered images and Poser models for characters, I've always wanted to make a a truly 3D adventure but could never find a script solution for the adventure controls until i stumbled upon s.c.u.R.F.

The game i was going to make in Flash is a biker/horror story called "Dark Moon Rising", the scenes i started doing have a huge poly count so cant really be used
the plan is to do a grey scale world, kinda like "Sin City" post war england scenery

If anyone wants to help it would be great, i'm still learning RF and i could do with some pointers on the s.c.u.R.F system, its kinda gong over my head at the moment, also low poly characters, effects etc

These are two of the flash games i've done, they use the Lassie AS game engine:

2D Assassin, is a remake of an AGS game with more puzzles and a story!

Handyman Wanted, was done for a contest, i only did the flash coding and animation in this, the plan is to remake this game to how I would of made it.. we'll see

just to prove i have the staying power to finish a game lol 2DA took about 3 weeks, Handyman wanted was done in 6 weeks and had a deadline to meet, 2 weeks of that just to code one puzzle, it was made worse by the game engine crashing while entering code :?

this is a street shot from the flash version of the game DMR
