Not exactly sure if it's any good, but the screenshots show a sleek, simplified interface (this could be good or bad).
I'm guessing it's geared toward artsy stuff rather than modeling for games. Maybe it would be good for concepting tho?

Does it have plugin capability or export to a format that is importable by other modelling applications?

Yes, defenitely. It exports to obj, 3ds, lwo (most important formats IMHO), and also 3DM, IGS, and STl.
