i suppose infinite, or 64378, i think is max floating point number...

But you can't view that many on-screen at the same time, I wouldn't think.

I'd say not. Plus, your computer might grind to a halt. If you have many brushes and a complicated level, be sure to use the groups function. That way you can pinpoint the things you need without superfluous stuff getting in the way.
