rf For Macintosh

Has anyone thought of compiling rf in macintosh or is it not possible? I found that my mac laptop at school has a c++ compiler!

i wish, if macintosh had directX it would be possible.
id do it in linux, would be funny.

correct, macs to my knowledge do not have directx; they do, however, have opengl, which rf supports. the biggest obstacle, in my opinion, would be re-writing it to be mac compatible, which would be... difficult, i imagine, though ive never done serious programing for macs, at best.

I'm no coding whiz but...

My friends would love it on mac:

FriendA: Has a mac computer

FriendB: Is buying a mac laptop


FA can learn to use it easily
FB already uses it but I'm not sure why he isn't on this forum.

Anyway my point is lots of people in the world like mac's so A rf engine written for mac

yeah that'd be a lot of work. 400000 lines of code?

In my opinion apple laptops rock except for one thing you can't play windows games! The Graphics rock! :D They have a script that is used for almost everything on macs called....but of course applescript. If you guys would like to look into it click here! Looks about as simple as the simkin that rf uses!
