My oldest one, the 11 yr old, said he wanted to, until he saw all the work that is involved. Then he 'lost interest'.
The two younger ones are 6 and 7. They love games, but aren't ready just yet.

... maybe they could test my game, you know, be the younger audience. I'm going to develop "mini demos" throughout production that will allow the people of the RF community to tell me what they like or dislike about things like gameplay, level design, etc. I won't have a whole ton of enemies and I make up for this by having semi-confusing almost maze-like maps. My first Mini Demo should be in like a month or two. (subject to change)

cool. well, its not done yet and i've had problems attatching .zip files. I'd also have to figure out why my game never worked when I compile a demo. And i'd have to finish off my pawns. For now, it uses virgil and the robots, but that'll eventually change.

Don't worry about zip files. When your demo is ready, let QOD know and you can put it up in the demos section on FileFront. You'll want to make an installer for it. I like setup2go. Nice little freeware install creator.

What do you mean your game won't work when you compile a demo? It won't run after compiling in the editor, or you haven't been able to make it a stand alone project?

it doesn't work as a standalone project.
