How do I make the gun stick to the players hand?

I have a problem- The gun never sticks to the player's hand! Why?

did you give the gun the same bones as the player? like if u have virgil as the player, you have to have virgils skeleton in the gun model.

Ummmmm.......I don't have virgil as the player model, but how do you give the gun the same bones as the player?

take the skeleton for the player, import it into the gun model file and assign the gun to a bone.
