The problem is as an actor he is invisible
just need to know a couple of things,

how are you trying to add your actor?: e.g pawn, player, staticmesh ect..
where is the actor invisible game or editor?:

Checklist

if your actor is a pawn,
make sure you have defined him properly in the pawn.ini, check spelling and other details and the actor is in the folder \realityfactory\media\actors\ <- you can place this else where but you have to define your paths right usually in the actors folder without getting to complex :)

if your actor is a mesh, static or staticproxy, again make sure you have your actor in the right folder, and has the correct file name include prefixes as well i.e .act

one other thing make sure you have at least one bone in your actor and the actor posistion to the ground is where the root bone/first bone is
the reason i have stated that is i had some plant act's which did not appear, turned out the root bone was too high up and they were sitting below the ground.

hope this helps
if you could give us a clearer explaination of what you have done i maybe a bit more helpfull to you

scale it up or down in the actor viewer and see what happens. Maybe it'S too small to be seen or too big so that you are 'inside' it.
Everyone can see the difficult, but only the wise can see the simple.

the other thing that has sprung to mind is do you have a material assigned to you actor,
EDIT : scratch that looking at your model it appears you do, but just

and your material must be Sq by the power of 2

i.e 256x256, 512x256 ect

also the textures must be .bmp's as well,
