Compiling a Game

Post by Lost »

Sorry about a new post but this is a differant question

How Do I send a game I made to a freind that I made with R/F so it will run on another pc...Game maker makes a stand alone executable

Do I have to Zip up my whole R/f folder and send?

Sorry if this has been answered a million times before

What files do I add? How do I make it work on another pc :(

My game compiles no problems in RfEditPro..I just need some help making it a stand alone game....thanks in advance :)

You dont have to send all the folders, tools you dont, there is an rf minimum file somewhere, i think Hike has it on his web, it has the bare minimum to zip up a working game, :)

The latest minimum file is the official download on this site,
search the FAQ
http://terrymorgan.net/rffaq.zip,

for 'minimum'?

you run your game with 'logging=on' in the realityfactory.ini, this gives you a list
of all the stuff that loads, then just add it to the official
072a install.

Your executable is always realityfactory.exe
