VERY difficult, but not impossible, though i would not recommend trying the first thing you mentioned. Problem would be that the players would have to have Milkshape3d or Max, and not everyone has them.
In the first the player is basically modding your game, and replaces a certain object in the game. In the second you add DynamicEntities in the form of bricks...
But for this to work, you must download the CommunityRelease. Then you would insert your objects as DynamicEntities and alsways keep altering their EntityNames.
But with the Community Release you have no physics (yet). Also, if you keep adding to many actors (say 100+) the performance may suffer...

Are you trying to make a sort of lego-game where you build up your world?

Exactly!!!

I wanted to make a game similar to that game "Roblox" but you have like a planet and u can create
ships and buildings and monsters with blocks (similar to building a gummi ship in kingdom hearts)
or import models but while u are in the game.Get it?and when multiplayer becomes possible u can trade ships for ORIONS (the game money)build empires make alliances/enemies all in 3D!
but if i cant make it so the player can create stuff ill just have to make like a universal store
where players can buy stuff so like yea... 8)
