Changing the bitmap that the falme thrower uses.

I tried to change the bitmap from the flame to the corona. After the change there was no bitmap seen coming out of the flame thrower. All I did was change the muzzle flash for the flame thrower in the weapon.ini. That is all I did. I changed the muzzle flash back to the flame and it worked fine.
I changed the bitrate of the bitmap that I wanted to use. That had no effect.
I changed the size of the bitmap that I wanted to use. That had no effect.
Is there something else that I should be doing to get the flame thrower to fire the corona instead of the flame?

I'm not at home with my comp. Are these bitmaps all in the same folder?

Show us the canged section in the INI file.

All I did was change the name of the bitmap in the INI file. I did not change anything else.
I figured that would work, but it didn't.

You should also change the alphamap name, and the bitmap and alpha must have the same size.
