Fire animations for weaopns play only after weapon is fired

I have made several weapons. One of them is a mini gun. I have the shoot animation for the weapon in the weapon.ini set to the name of the fire animation.

The animation plays just fine but only after the weapon is fired. I would really like the fire animation to play at the exact moment the weapon is fired.

How can this be done?

I have been working with RF for some time and I don't understand what you mean.

Could you please give all the details that go with your suggestion?

I believe he was thinking you might have a delay at the beginning of your animation. I can not think of a reason the animation would play after the firing of the weapon.

MS3D doesn't produce seamless Animations.

1 make the last key frame the same as the first frame.
2 go to the penultimate frame and make that a key frame.
3 delete the last frame.
animation now seamless.

you can also use a sewing machine to try to make it seamless

The last frame of the fire animation is a copy of the first frame. My animations are pretty smooth. The issue is that the fire animations don't play at the exact moment that the weapon fires.

I have made sure that there is no delay in the animation. The first frame is the first frame of the motion that I want the weapon to make.

Do any of you have that issue, or does your animation play at the exact same moment that your weapons fire?

So I take it that it is not possible to get the fire animations to play at the moment that the weapon acually fires. I guess that it was a bit much hope for.

my weapons fire on time. dunno what that problem is
